In a land not so far away, an adorable little cottage has just sprouted. From the top of a hill, it dominates and observes the surrounding landscape. On rare occasions, when the conditions are right, three manta rays can be seen for a few days. Only passing through, they keep watch over the guest of the household, making sure she's well taken care of.
I made this glass dome to celebrate my mother's move at Christmas 2022. Apart from the glass dome, everything was made by hand. The base was modelled and 3D printed in PLA wood, the landscape and house were made from recycled materials, and the manta rays were made in polymer clay. The photos were taken in this house.
